- This is my 15th year as an educator. In the past, I have taught kindergarten, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade! My current position is my favorite one yet, though! I get to teach gifted fifth and sixth graders in an enrichment program (Project Jubilee)!
- I graduated from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2003. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Special Education-Gifted Studies from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in December 2016. I am a few classes into my Education Specialist degree program in Educational Leadership.

- I am a 2013 graduate of the Digital Renaissance Leadership Academy for Baldwin County, as well as a Discovery Education Network STAR educator.
- I also help with the Peer Helper program at Daphne East, and I coach the 6th grade cheer team for the city of Daphne rec league.
- I was named Daphne East Teacher of the Year for the 2012-13 school year, and I was awarded Baldwin County's 2A Middle School Cheerleading Coach of the Year for the 2015-16 school year.
- I am a wife to a soldier, a mom to a dancer and a basketball player, and the human to two very spoiled dogs!
